Class of 2026 Adds to Warrior Legacy

The graduation ceremony for the class of 2026 was held Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m. 

The event will took place at the stadium of Robert Lau Memorial Field, where 225 graduating students received their diploma. 

Senior class vice president, Noah Hernandez, welcomed everyone to the ceremony prior to the national anthem performed by the band and orchestra, directed again by Wes Harler and Andrew Jones, respectively. 

The recognition of scholarships and the recognition of military acceptance was presented by S.H.S. principal Dr. James Sterner.

The oration was presented by valedictorian Jacob Iwanowicz and salutatorian Kiley Herzog.

The Alumni guest speaker and receiver of the distinguished alumni award was Lt. Col. Matthew Schultz, a 2002 graduate of Susquehannock, currently serving as a Marine Corps Senior Logistics Fellow at Pennsylvania State University. 

The candidates were presented by Dr. Sterner, while the presentations of diplomas were made by Superintendent Dr. Robert Bryson and School Board President Nathan Henkel.

Senior class president Jonathan Wade made the closing remarks. 

The ceremony ended when Dr. Bryson made the Declaration of Graduation.
