Snow king and tab collection is back with seven seniors’ with containers outside the cafeteria waiting for tabs to flood in.
Students will be able to vote by putting their tabs into the bins of the candidate(s) that they would like to see win. The heaviest container at the end of the collection period will determine the snow king winner. The winner will be announced Jan. 30 at the Winter Olympics competition in the gymnasium.
This year, candidates include seniors Lee Cluster, Jackson Elliot, Kemper Frederick, Noah Hernandez, Ryan Reeves, Caleb Ross and Chris Vest.
The tabs will go to the Ronald McDonald House charity, and then will be exchanged for money that will help to keep the house running for families who are staying there while their children receive care in nearby hospitals.
