In a swirl of in-style green, blue and pink fabrics, students are picking out dresses and dapper tuxedos as prom season swings in.

Swinging into the Golden age of the 20s, the evening’s theme is full of green light, merriment, music, and extravagance- The Great Gatsby.

Prom will occur in the Valencia Ballroom in York on Saturday, May 3 from 6-10 p.m., students are able to purchase tickets this year for $72 a person. Students are able to purchase tickets from March 17-11 via myschoolbucks. If a student would like to bring an outside guest, they must fill out and get a guest form approved from the front office.

Juniors and seniors may only attend if all their graduation projects and requirements are completed. If you have any questions on if you have completed them or not, email your homeroom teacher or one of the school counselors.

Food will be served buffet style, consisting of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options such as chicken piccata, lasagna, roasted potatoes, salads and more so be sure to come hungry.

Students are ready for a fun night with lots of people, food, music and dancing for 2025’s prom.
