Shutdown Does Not Stop Lit Mag

Even though school buildings were shut down this past spring, the first edition of Perspectives, the new Susquehannock Literary Magazine, was still published.

Adviser Tim Groth was proud of the staff.

“This year, I was fortunate to have a dedicated group of students who were willing to build this magazine, ” said Groth. “I am very proud of the work they have done to showcase the writings, photography, and art of students from within our building.”

The magazine is smaller than the Literary Magazine club had planned, but they’re looking forward to expanding it in the years to come.

Groth prized the efforts of junior AJ Marusko and alumni Ian Actherberg. Marusko stepped up to the role of editor-in-chief.

“She did a great job with encouraging students to submit works,” said Groth.

The entire design was done by Achterberg.

“I think it’s obvious that he put an immense amount of time and effort into the final product, said Groth.
