Student Council will host Jail-A-Teacher Day on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. This means that all throughout the school day, students will be able to jail a teacher to stall their class through donating money. For every dollar raised, teachers are locked up for one minute, and as long as teachers have been jailed for five minutes, it can last as long as the entire period. All money raised will benefit Southern Regional Police’s efforts to obtain a police dog, or K9 unit. Also, check out Christopher Stem’s video on the special event.
