Senior Jensen Perry recently was awarded the Alumni Spirit Award by the Susquehannock alumni during halftime at the Homecoming football game on Oct. 12, 2018.

“It makes me feel great inside… everybody screamed my name,” Perry said.

This award is given out to an SHS alumnus who demonstrates outstanding school spirit, and Perry exemplified this over this past summer.

Perry showed his determination over the summer. when he had emergency heart surgery and spent 42 days at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

This was the ninth year that this award was given out and the first time that a current Susquehannock student was awarded the award.

“I was really happy and really excited when everybody screamed my name loud in the audience… It made me feel really excited,” said Perry.
