Recently, Apple unveiled its new line of products, including the highly anticipated iPhone 6, the larger iPhone 6 Plus, and the iWatch, along with its brand new operating system, IOS 8.

But many consumers are asking the same question: What’s new? The new iPhone 6 has a .7 inch larger screen, measuring at 4.7 inches diagonally. The iPhone 6’s big brother, the iPhone 6 Plus is even larger, measuring 5.5 inches diagonally, as large as the Galaxy Note 2, one of the largest sized screen phones on the market. All new iPhones are also coming with a beautiful HD retina display, which makes color absolutely pop on your screen. Another new feature with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is called “Apple Pay.” Apple Pay allows you to store all of your credit cards and debit cards on the system itself, allowing the user to simply scan their iPhone instead of having to pull out their plastic credit cards. This method of payment is actually safer than regular credit card payments because the actual credit card number is never actually saved, it is randomly regenerated each time it is used. This offers more secure payments with your iPhone. See more —> http://www.apple.com/iphone

Junior Ellie Holloway loves her new iPhone 6. “I like how big it is.” said Holloway. “I really like the picture quality. It’s definitely a drastic improvement, and I especially like the gold color. It portrays my classiness.”

Junior Aidan Kirkendall also has a new gold iPhone 6, but in it’s larger size, the 6 Plus. “It’s huge,” said Kirkendall. “I love the sleek design it has to it.”

Senior Josh Attig also has a new iPhone 6, but in black. “I love Apple,” said Attig. “I love the simplicity of the phone; it’s so innovative. It doesn’t even compare to the Galaxy. So much better.”

But what iPhone is complete without a matching watch running the same software as your phone? With this iWatch, you can check messages, view maps, and even message right from your wrist. See more —> http://www.apple.com/watch

Finally, the new software, IOS 8, is supposed to be the biggest improvement in IOS ever. I say “supposed to be” due to the bug issues the software currently has, but are sure to be resolved in the coming weeks. The new software offers major improvements to messages, photos, and even the keyboard. The keyboard now offers suggestions to finish your sentences. This new update will be available to the iPhone 4s and newer models and will be released around 1:00 pm Eastern Time Wednesday afternoon. See more —> http://www.apple.com/ios

The new software will cost you nothing, but the hardware certainly will. The new iPhone 6 starts at $199, and the Plus starts at $299, but you’ll have to wait to purchase the iWatch. You can get your hands on a new iWatch starting at $345 early next year.
