One of the closest professional sports teams to our area, the Hershey Bears, held one of their biggest community outreach events of the year on Jan. 5 with the annual “Teddy Bear Toss.”
Stuffed animals cover parts of the ice for the Hershey Bears' "Teddy Bear Toss" on Jan. 5. This event is a yearly tradition for the Bears. It was one of two nights this season where they reached new franchise records. Earlier in the season they set a new record for most fans at one game and on this night they broke the record for biggest collection of stuffed animals.
