Educational Trips during the school year

Attn:  Parents/Guardians,
If you are planning an Educational Trip during the school year, please refer to the SMS Handbook,
page 50. Here is a summary of the policy:
– Students are allowed five school days per year for an educational trip
– The Educational Trip and Tour form should be submitted 10 days before the trip for approval by
the building principal
– Forms are available on line at the SMS web site, under the Student tab, pull down menu to
Student Forms and Information (https://pa02203627.schoolwires.net/Page/64) OR at the main
office.
If you have any questions regarding trips or attendance issues, please contact Mrs. Sherman at
717-235-4811 ext. 3501.
Parents/guardian can now email absent notes, excuses and early dismissals for medical
appointments at [email protected].
