The Student Council creates a spirit week each year to unite the Susquehannock community with energy leading up to the Homecoming dance.
From Oct. 6 to 9, students celebrated homecoming spirit week with spirit days, a powder puff game and a football game, all to boost energy prior to the Homecoming dance on Saturday.

The Student Council has worked to generate ideas and plans for the previous weeks to satisfy students and lift their spirits.
Junior Luna-Sofia Pastrana, a student council representative, talks about her role in helping to organize homecoming.
“The council takes the time to plan everything,” Pastrana said. “We split into different committees to divide the work.”
One big difference from last year’s Homecoming Spirit week was the new event ideas; senior Caleb Ross has helped play a major key role in making this change.
“This year I tried to streamline some of the days to make more people participate,” Ross said. “Tried to choose ideas that were more approachable.”

Caleb Ross was motivated to ensure that spirit week was successful this year. His dedication helped create school spirit while creating excitement for students throughout the week.
“Being a senior makes me want to put in a lot more effort, so I can go out on a good note,” Ross said.
