Friendship Elementary School has reached level 2 in the Pennsylvania Certified High Reliability School certification process.
The Pennsylvania High Reliability School Certification is a ranking system created by the Marzano Network and is used to rank how reliable a school is when it comes to schools promoting learning.
Friendship Elementary is the first school in Pennsylvania to achieve this ranking.
While most buildings in Southern York County rank in at level 1, meaning that they provide a safe supportive and collaborative culture, Friendship’s level 2 means they provide an effective teaching environment in every classroom.
Superintendent Robert Bryson is excited for this achievement.
“We are so proud of the entire Friendship staff for their extraordinary efforts in earning the High Reliability Schools Level 2 Certification – Effective Teaching in Every Classroom,” Bryson said. “As the first school in Pennsylvania to reach this milestone, the Friendship Family has much to celebrate!”.
While Friendship may be the first school in the district to rank this, all schools are striving to climb up the rankings.
