It is that time of year again for snow days, but sometimes we may find ourselves at home bored  after classes are done, not knowing what to do. Consider below 10 fun activities to do while the flakes fall.

1. Host a Movie Marathon

Sit down and watch your favorite movie or series. If you really want to make it a movie marathon, have some popcorn and hot cocoa as you watch your movies

2. Warm-up the Kitchen

Mix up some of your favorite cookies or your favorite comfort food.

3. Shovel Snow

Shovel your driveway or sidewalk, and maybe even help your neighbors shovel theirs as well.

4. Play Board Games

Pull out some of your favorite childhood board games, and play with your siblings, friends or neighbors. Play Monopoly, Twister or cards, maybe even create your own game.

5. Paint the Snow

Use colored water in spray bottles, and use the blank snow as your canvas. Make gradients, ombres and more. Check out this link for more information.

6. Catch-Up on School Work

Take the time after your classes to make sure you have all your work done, turn assignments in and go through your grades.

7. Reach out to Friends

Check up on your friends, and see what they’re up to. Drive to their house, and just hang out.

8. Create the Ultimate Playlist

Gather your favorite songs and favorite albums into playlists for your many different moods.

9. Make Snow Ice Cream

Take some fresh fallen snow, and add some sugar and milk. You can add all your favorite toppings and flavorings to make your ice cream. Check out this link for a recipe.
