Students competed at the PA Media and Design Competition at the Regional level on March 16, which included York and Adams County schools.

There were six categories that students could choose to compete in: 3D design, animation, logo and graphic design, digital movie, programming and web page design.

All five students who entered the competition were able to place within their categories.

Senior Emma Blazek took second place in the logo category, while senior Isabel Roppelt received third.

Junior Christian Brakke was able to secure first place in the 3D Design category, followed by juniors Jacob Brent and Aidan Mosley capturing second place.

Sophomore Ryan Reeves was able to take first place in the animation category.

Since Reeves and Brakke received first place, they will move on to compete at the state level at Dickinson College on May 21, gaining the opportunity to win up to $150.
