Dakota Dixon is a 7-year-old boy who goes to Friendship Elementary. He was diagnosed on Thursday, September 13, 2023, with a tennis-sized brain cancerous tumor. It was growing fast until they were able to do surgery and get most of it removed. He went under chemotherapy as a precaution and had a bone marrow transplant, the transplant was not necessary which is ultimately what is hurting him right now. As of April 7th, 2024, he has two chest tubes because of air in the chest cavity. He is currently maxed out on a ventilator and ECMO. You can donate or learn more about him on his GoFundMe.
