The Warriors boys volleyball team must get things in order to prepare for the firepower that Northeastern holds.

The Warriors are fueled by young players, but they also have a nice mixture of veteran seniors and juniors that look to take these young players under their wing.

Sophomore Tyler Evans sees a bright future with such a young team.

“We have freshmen coming up that can hopefully add to this team,” said Evans.

Evans has big goals for the upcoming season.

“I am hoping that we can make districts and repeat from last year,” said Evans.

Freshman Parker Dean comes in to help this team win.

“I am hoping that I can help the team win in some way and hopefully we can make districts. It’s all about the game,” said Dean.

This team sees a bright future for themselves as they begin the season.

Despite the team’s high hopes, they realize that there is a lot of work to still be done as the season just began.

The Warriors hope to win their first scrimmages and keep the momentum going.

Sophomore Rece Thoman believes practices have been going well.

“Practices have been going ok. We have a lot of new guys on JV are getting the basics and techniques down, but are improving daily,” said Thoman.

The boys are hopeful for a strong, consistent season and to improve from last season’s efforts.

The Warriors have a scrimmage on March 17 against Eastern.

The Warriors also have another on March 20 against New Oxford.
