With the fall season at its start, there are many new seasonal activities to do in Southern York County and around the area to get into the fall spirit.
1- The 53 National Apple Harvest Festival in Biglerville, Pennsylvania, is a great activity for all members of the family. The festival features kids activities, such as pie eating contests, hayrides, and the kids country barn, all the way to plenty of clothing and jewelry stands for the teens and adults. It is being held this weekend, October 14-15.
2-Hanover is holding its 76th annual Halloween Parade. An event with loads of fun and fear, this is great for any student looking for some fun. Held on the last Thursday of October, the parade starts at 7:30 p.m. http://www.hanoverareajaycees.org/
3-Central Hotel Murder Mystery Dinner is being held at Bube’s Brewery in Alois, Pennsylvania. Prepare for a night of mysteries right in front of your eyes. With a cast and members that love to bring you back in time for a whole new experience. It is a 19th-century experience that any one would never forget. 4-For all of you who love everything mystical, they have the Fall Fairie Festival, Autumn of Imagination. With a short backstory for the entire festival, attendees can dress as fairies, wood nymphs or elves. With four tribes and a drum circle, there are events for all ages. 5-Finally, for any and all looking for an adventure, there is Maize Quest. This year’s theme is Arabian Nights.
