Two teams compete in the preliminary round of the annual Winter Olympics in mid-December. Student council also brought a new idea to the table this year: a full month of spirit weeks. They believed it was a fun twist to bring excitement towards the holiday season. Allison Altemose, one of the two Student Council advisors, brought this idea to the table with help from one of her colleagues. “Mr. DeLuca brought it to us, and then I brought it to Student Council, and I said ‘Is this something you would be interested in?’,” Altemose said.
