The Harlem Wizards basketball team is coming to York County.

The middle school PTSO is having a fundraiser game in the high school gymasium on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m; however, doors open at 5:30 p.m. 

Teachers and students from all SYCSD schools will participate in the Wizards versus Warriors game.

The teachers and students playing in the game are excited to challenge the Wizards.

Stacy Guess, SMS PTSO President, gives insight on the game quickly approaching.

“There is a lot of excitement building up for this game, so I believe it is something we would do again in the future,” said Guess. “The event is a wonderful opportunity to bring families and community [members] together in support of the common goal.”

The SMS PTSO hopes to raise $10,000 for this event.

All money that is raised from the game benefits the scholarship for selected seniors.

General admission is $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
