Join MathCounts Team!

The MathCounts team at Southern Middle School will begin holding meetings in October. The purpose of these meetings will be to prepare for the York County Invitational Tournament in January 2020. The top 4 students and 2 alternates will continue to meet in January and February to prepare for the Regional MathCounts competition held on the third Saturday in February.
We will accept any 7th or 8th grade student who wants to compete. A selection process will be implemented If we have more than the maximum 16 students who can register. Permission slips will be distributed in Math classes in September.
