American Legion Austin L. Grove Post 403 of Glen Rock recently presented the Southern York County School District with a donation of gift cards for the Community Aid store in Hanover, PA. The gift cards will be used to help District families who are in need of clothing and household items.

Southern York County School District social services coordinator Jill Platts gratefully accepted the donation on behalf of the District from Randall Rill, past post commander of the American Legion Austin L. Grove Post 403. “We are very grateful for the Community Aid gift cards donated by the American Legion Post 403,” said Platts. “Partnerships such as this provide us with the community support necessary to lend a hand to our students and families when they need it most,” she said.
