What’s New with Netflix: All the New Buzz You Need to Know

Netflix continues to grow its wide range of movies and television shows from hit Marvel Movies to the classic “House of Cards.” Here’s what’s new from on Netflix that people are already getting their popcorn ready for.

                                                         Black Panther

“Black Panther” cast members include Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, and Lupita Nyong’o.

Netflix will add the hit Marvel film onto their platform soon. “Black Panther” hit theatres earlier this year and was met with over 1 billion dollars from global box offices. The movie will be added on September  4.

Anne with an “E”

“Anne with an ‘E'” has yet to be dropped in Canada, so fans believe that filming for season three will begin shortly after the shows Canadian premiere.

The Canadian drama “Anne with an ‘E’” has been loved by thousands of Netflix users and will make another appearance on the small screen. The coming-of-age story is based off the book “Anne of Green Gables” and has already gained a large following from its first two seasons. The third season of the show is set for a 2019 release.

 

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

Netflix’s  new original movie “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” has been met with high praise and love. The movie, based off the book of the same title by Jenny Han, follows Lara Jean, a teenager who wreaks havoc after the love letters she has written are sent out to the boys she wrote them for. The movie was released to Netflix on August 17.

                                                          House of Cards Finale

“House of Cards” replaced the main character with the character’s wife.

The hit Netflix original “House of Cards” will finally be coming to a close this November 2. The show recently went through casting difficulties after its lead actor, Kevin Spacey, was accused of sexual assault. For the final season, Robin Wright, who played Spacey’s on-screen wife and right hand man, will step into the actor’s shoes to finish off the show.

                                       Queer Eye Reboot

The “Queer Eye” reboot appeared on Netflix ten years after the original series ended.

A decade after the original Bravo series “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” ended, Netflix rebooted the series on its platform. The show follows the “Fab Five,” Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, Johnathan Van Ness, Tan France and Bobby Berk, as they travel across the country to help give makeovers, whether in personality, lifestyle, or appearance, to men in need. The show debuted on February 7 and does not seem to be ending any time soon.

                                                                                                             

                                                              End of the F***ing World

“The End of the F***ing World” was nominated for a Emmy award last year.

The show “End of the F***ing World” premiered on Netflix on January 5 after its debut in the UK the previous year and has recently been confirmed for another season at this year’s Edinburgh Television Festival. The second season is expected to debut in the UK next year.
