Susquehannock girls lacrosse played Hershey Thursday, May 14 in the District III championship.

The game was held at Lower Dauphin High School at 5 p.m.

The girls beat Wyomissing 13-11 in the first round sending them to the finals.

As the 2017 District Champions, it was a huge accomplishment to have the chance to win again.

Hershey ended up coming out on top 11-9 after a very close and well played game.

However, the girls are proud to be the 2018 District III Runner Ups and are excited for their run in the state tournament.

The PIAA State Lax Championship 2A will begin with round one on Tuesday, May 29 at Bloomsburg University at 6 p.m.

The girls are excited for the opportunity to participate in the tournament and are looking forward to their first game.
