Susky Boys Basketball Eager to Start the Season
The boys basketball team has undergone a coaching change during the offseason and looks to have a successful upcoming season.
Starting senior point guard Jordan McMillion shows optimism towards New head coach Andrew Shelow.
“The new coach is great,” said McMillion. “The biggest difference is that he really knows how to communicate well with everybody on the team.”
Regarding the upcoming season, McMillion is hopeful with what the squad can achieve.
“I think we’re going to do pretty well,” said McMillion. “We have to take it game by game, but this should be a totally different team than what you’ve seen in the past.”
Senior shooting guard Hunter Sentz believes his team has improved over the offseason.
“I think we’ve come along pretty well,” said Sentz. “At the start of the season we were pretty rough, but we’ve been having some really good practices.”
Sentz is extremely confident in the team that they have built over the past few weeks.
“I think we have a chance to win our division this year,” said Sentz. “There’s a lot of good competition in our league, but I don’t think there’s any team that’s really going to blow everyone out of the water.”
The season starts off at 7:30 P.M Friday December 8 with a tournament at Donegal High School.
