Maxwell Loses Mohawk Bet

Members of the football team placed a hair-splitting bet with physical education teacher Brett Maxwell at the start of this season.

The bet entailed  Maxwell taking a serious risk-  with his hair style.

“Well a couple of the players came to me back at the beginning of the school year in August and asked me if they had won the division championship this year if I’d be willing to get a Mohawk, and at the time I wasn’t really thinking down the road … not thinking that they would remember…,” Maxwell said.

Senior Brent Hoffler also gives some insight on the Mohawk bet.

“Well, we were pretty happy just for him to do it because a lot of teachers don’t usually keep their words when they say stuff like that, and we would definitely ask the teachers to do it again if we could,” Hoffler said.
