The magic never dies for Harry Potter fans. Between the upcoming Magical Beasts and Where to Find Them movie

and the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play, the magic this franchise has created is back in full swing. Lucky enough, several locations around the globe have spots dedicated for the world of Harry Potter.

Junior Gabby Maiorano has always been a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and movies and thinks these opportunities are a great way to fulfill fans’ inner-wizard dreams.

“Being able to take part in a series that has shaped my childhood is really amazing. Harry Potter plays a huge role in many fans’ lives, and this castle is turning their dreams into a reality. I think it would be really cool to experience what the wizarding world would actually be like,” said Maiorano.

Czocha Castle

With the swish and flick of a wand, this Polish castle is offering a four-day live action role play in April for any witch or wizard who is still awaiting their Hogwarts letter. As thousands of people sign up from all around the globe, they are preparing themselves to take the roles of students, professors and ghosts that play huge parts in the Harry Potter franchise.

Trying to keep the magic just as J.K. Rowling created it, students will be given a set of books, taught to fight off the dark arts, and will even be sorted into their own houses. Because this castle is known for being a College of Wizardry, teens will be chosen to represent one of Czocha’s original houses with the names of Durentius, Faust, Libussa, Molin and Sendivogiuus.

Junior Mackenzie Gibson has recently gotten into the Harry Potter fandom and finds Czocha’s house names a little upsetting.

“I know that this is an ancient castle, but I think that if there is going to be a Harry Potter event, the house names could be changed to Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. It would really make attendees feel as though they are in the Hogwarts they grew up seeing. But, I think this role play will really satisfy fans,” said Gibson.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando and Hollywood

But don’t worry, there will be plenty of Harry Potter references that fans will be able to enjoy and look forward to in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme parks located in Florida and California.

Sophomore Sydney Smith visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando this past summer and left with very unforgettable memories.

“Some of my favorite things about my trip was being right there at the castle. Just about everything that was in the movies could be seen around the parks. It was so much cooler being able to witness everything in person because you could walk inside the stores and could support your favorite house by buying and wearing clothing that really looked like it was from the movies. Any Harry Potter fan would love the interactive wands because it felt as if you really were a wizard casually practicing wizardry on the school grounds,” said Smith.

There are an assortment of rides found in the park, with the two major ones being located inside the Hogwarts castle and inside Gringott’s Bank. Together, fans embark on a journey with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, stopping for a game of quidditch and defeating Lord Voldemort himself.

drink is served frozen, cold, and hot. Other magical drinks like Fishy Green Ale and Pumpkin Juice are also very popular.

Smith also was fortunate enough to try some of the drinks sold at the park.

“Another highlight of my trip was definitely trying the Butterbeer. They rave about it in the books and movies, and it really is as good as they say. I was only able to try the normal and frozen versions, but I have heard the hot was well worth buying, and I hope to try it my next trip back,” said Smith.

Warner Brothers Studios in England

For those that just can’t get enough Harry Potter, Warner Brother’s Studio in London offers tours around the set of the movies. All iconic props and costumes have been kept so fans can have the firsthand experience of the series they love so much.

Unfortunately, there will be no real Hogwarts Express waiting at King’s Cross Station, so muggles better grab their broomsticks and fly to Hogwarts fast, whether it’s in Poland, London, or the U.S. These four magical places will leave fans with a Harry Potter experience so real, they’ll never want to leave their new home for their boring old muggle lives. After all, Harry Potter once said while leaving Hogwarts, “I’m not going home, not really.”
