‘Blossom Blast Saga’ is the App of the Week
December 4, 2015
This week’s top new app is the addictive game Blossom Blast Saga.
One of the hit new apps of 2015, the Blossom Blast Saga is at the top of the list for new games on the Google Play Store and iTunes.
The whole premise of the game is to link similar flowers and buds within a garden, much like popular games such as Bejeweled and Candy Crush. The game starts off very simple but increases in difficulty the farther the player moves on through the levels.
In order to complete the level, the player needs to link 3 or more buds of the same color in order to grow them into flowers. Clearing the flowerbed will result in achieving an “Awesome Blossom!” but dangerous obstacles like weeds can get in the way of completing the level.
The game has in-app purchases, such as gold bars, the in-game currency, which can allow the player to buy extra moves or lives.
The game’s features include colorful graphics of the garden, a fun character named Blossom who accompanies the player on their travels throughout the different levels, and 120 levels with 4 exciting game modes.
A recent update for Blossom Blast Saga included 2 new levels and a new antagonist called Blocker the Honey Bee.
The app has had over 5 million downloads and with an average rating of 4.4 out of 5 from the Google Play store.
The company responsible for creating the game is King, the same company who created the legendary Candy Crush Saga.
Other games by King include the Candy Crush Soda Saga, the Farm Heroes Saga, Paradise Bay, and the Bubble Witch Saga.
Blossom Blast Saga is free to play and is available through the Google Play Store and iTunes.
