Consider going bowling the next time there is free time because in Seven Valleys there is a new and improved Springfield Bowling Center.

Mike Shores, the new owner of Springfield, proudly opened the center on March 12.
“Originally, I was not looking for a bowling alley to open…I’m more in the food background,” said Shores. “When I got a call about the Springfield Bowling Center…I was told to keep an open mind to come in and check it out and see what I thought.”
After purchasing the center, Shores had many options that he could do to the bowling center. Two main options were whether to close off the bowling alley section and use it as storage or tear it out and use it for his catering hall.

Shores knew that it was a strong community interest that the bowling center and the lanes were preserved.
“I couldn’t see doing anything but trying to preserve that and trying to do the best we could to bring the center back to life,” said Shores.
Most people in the community knew that for many years this bowling alley had been run down and needed a positive change. Shores and his team remodeled it to make it as appealing as possible to the community, offering new features.
All throughout the improved center, the equipment has been upgraded along with the lanes and Brunswick machines. Springfield Bowling Lanes has really made excellent progress from all of the damage that was originally in the interior.
Deals have been offered as well.

Sunday morning games are only a $1.50, birthday parties are 15% discounted and there are buy one get one free games. Additionally, coupons coming out in the Clipper Magazine have many other options that will be in your favor.
On top of the enhanced and revised bowling alley, Shores is also looking to employ more people especially once the community becomes more aware of the center.
With everything enhanced and more appealing, Shores and his team hope to see new faces around the community having fun and making memories.
“We are really excited to get the bowling center opened and functioning again and available to the community,” said Shores. “I would like to thank everyone who has been coming out and supporting the bowling center…so thank you to the community.”

Hi Mr. Shores!
I’ve a great gr’son who is 5 1/2. I’d like to take him bowling on wkends when I have him for visits as he shows a keen interest in that skill. What are your hrs and prices if you do accomodate young children on the lanes, preferably with bumpers used. I tried to find out more info on your website but none shown about these questions. I am hearing imparied and cannot make calls. I’d like to stay near my residence area (Stewartstown, PA) for such outings with him, and I remembered this bowling center from yrs ago. Thank you!.
