King of Hearts Candidates Prepare for Food Drive
January 18, 2015
The 2015 King of Hearts Candidates are getting ready to make a difference in Southern York County; the eight boys have stepped up to raise money and canned goods for a food drive. The boys will set up boxes in the school to collect cans of food, as well as will go to local businesses, churches, and clubs to collect cans and donations which will then go to the less fortunate.
While there will not be a King of Hearts dance this year, the candidates will be honored at a pep rally where the king will be chosen.
Each candidate was asked how they feel about becoming a candidate and what their focus was in choosing to participate. Candidates were asked to showcase the facial expression they would exhibit if they won.
