Susquehannock High School students Allison Rodgers, Madison Geiple, and Jacob Silliman were recently awarded 2nd place in the 2016 York/Adams High School Safe Teen Driving “No Excuses” billboard design contest.  The contest was sponsored by State Farm Insurance.

“The students were asked to design a billboard displaying a message dealing with teen driving safety, such as distracted driving, texting while driving, or seatbelt use,” said Susquehannock driver’s education teacher Doug Truscott.  “Allison, Madison, and Jacob earned second place,” Truscott said.

State Farm agent Vincent Cerceo presented the $500 second place award to Susquehannock High School.  The money will be used to raise awareness of seatbelt use for the Susquehannock driving community.
