What You Can Expect from the 2022 Art and Tech Fair
April 27, 2022
Art is the artist and their personality personified.
Spectators can see an artist´s personality and pain in their paintings, truth in their abstracts or skill in their sculpture.
It also takes a certain level of creativity, confidence and drive to make a public work, no matter its quality or form.
English teacher Heath Hallman, who paints as a hobby, has captured many of these characteristics of himself and his perception of the world in his works, and he will get to share them as the featured artist for the 2022 Art and Technology Fair.
“…It is a nice chance to share my hobby with the public, which is intimidating, but also exciting,” Hallman said. ¨“I have always been interested in art, but really only took up painting when I was 40…I think I was chosen because I [am] finish[ing] my 20th year of teaching and mov[ing] towards retirement.¨
Several pieces from many artists across the five schools will present their work from kindergarten all the way to seniors.
These works of art will also range from digital designs to drawing and painting to 3D sculptures and photography.
The Art and Tech fair will take place on April 28, beginning at 5 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m. Admission is free and light refreshments will be provided.
