Allison Flaherty – While on court, Flaherty looks at everyone alongside her and believes that everyone deserves to be on court and fortunately, she gets to experience it with some of her classmates this homecoming season. In school she is involved with the soccer team, Mini- THON, Link Crew, Writing Center and the Tutoring Center. She is excited to have fun one last time with the entire school, as it is an event where everyone comes together as a whole. As she experiences this tradition from a new perspective, she is excited to be a part of the court and look back on it in the future. “ I think it’s a memorable experience that I have to always look back on and I think that’s really valuable. It also gives me the opportunity to talk to different people and do things I normally don’t get to, which is something to remember as well,” said Flaherty. Photograph courtesy of Allison Flaherty.

Isabelle Morrison

From this experience, Morrison hopes to gain more friends and meet new people as she hopes they find her to be more approachable. Along with being her class vice president, she is involved with track and field, soccer, student council, Mini-THON and National Honor Society. Outside of school, she volunteers at her church. “My reaction when I learned I was in court was shocked,” said Morrison. “I honestly have not talked about the court that much. I was surprised that people other than my friends voted for me.” She is excited for the homecoming dance as it is a way to bring the entire school together and have fun.
