SHS Theatre Performs “The Addams Family” Next Weekend

Susquehannock High School Theatre will present “The Addams Family” next weekend, April 30 through May 2.

The shows will be on April 30 at 7 p.m., May 1 at 7 p.m. and May 2 at 2 p.m.

This revamped version of a 90s classic will keep the audience guessing, laughing and having fun for the entirety of the show as the Addams family navigates a new romance between their daughter, Wednesday, and her beau, Lucas Beineke.

Led by director Will Jenkins, the theatre department has been working hard to prepare for the shows since February despite the pandemic’s challenges.

A small cast size,  face masks and social distancing have not put a damper on the production, though, since actors will be wearing clear face shields and keeping their distance while still putting on the best show possible.

Even though there cannot be a full audience for the performances, tickets to live-streamed versions are available online via this link for $10.
