SHS Marching Band Seeded Second at Cavalcade of Bands Championships

The Susquehannock High School Marching Band earned the highest score during a recent competition at New Oxford High School and is seeded second in the Yankee Division at the upcoming Cavalcade of Bands Championships.
The Marching Band received a total score of 94.25 and also earned the highest percussion score of the competition. This is the first time the Marching Band will compete in the Yankee Division of the Cavalcade of Bands, Band Director Christian Poole said.
“This has been a season of outstanding firsts for the Marching Band,” Poole said and added that the growth in the Band’s membership has also added to its success this year. The Band will compete in the championships on Sunday, November 15, 2015, at Downingtown High School in Downingtown, Pa. at 2:15 p.m
