Susquehannock High School Band to Perform with Hypnotic Brass Ensemble at the Strand
September 22, 2016
The Susquehannock High School marching band will be performing with the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble at the Strand Capitol Performing Arts Center in York on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 7:30 p.m.
Music teacher Christian Poole said that the experience is “quite an honor, and it will be a great public event. The Strand and Hypnotic Brass are kindly donating $10 of each ticket sold directly to the Susquehannock High School marching band.” Poole thanked Larry Kosson and his agency, Kosson Talent, for making this event possible.
The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble is a family band of seven brothers who began their musical training at ages four and five by their father, jazz trumpeter and band leader, Kelan Phil Cohran. The band mixes traditional brass with musical styles such as hip hop, soul, and funk.
