SMS Spelling Bee Results

Natalia Ramirez-Snell did very well at the WITF Regional Spelling Bee! In order to qualify for the Grand Championship Spelling Bee the champions from our school competed against about 150 other school champions from 10 surrounding counties in a written spelling and vocabulary test. Making to the Regional Bee is a big accomplishment. Up to 35 students are allowed to be in the televised Grand Championship. In the 2020 competition, 34 students competed in the Regional Spelling Bee and Natalia placed 24th.
