Thank you to everyone who supported us with the Chick-Fil-A spirit night and the Boon Supply Fundraiser! Also, thank you to all parents who donated a food item to our February teacher appreciation dinner. The meal turned out fantastic and the staff is very thankful!

SMS PTSO is sponsoring a combined 7th and 8th grade dance on Friday, March 13th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Tickets will be $10 each and will include admission to the dance, drinks, chips, and desserts. Our own Officer Mendez will be DJ-ing the dance! Dress will be school – appropriate attire. Tickets will be on sale in the main office March 2nd to March 13th. Students purchasing tickets will be placed on a list that we will have at the door. Physical tickets will not be handed out. All proceeds from the dance will go to the Animal Rescue, Inc.
Along with the dance, PTSO will be holding a team competition March 2nd to March 13th. Students are asked to bring in donations of pet supplies (food, toys, blankets, etc). The team that brings in the most pet supplies will receive a team reward later in the month. The reward will include a visit with Bodhi (Jill Platts’ service dog) and a special treat!
SMS PTSO will be holding a Paint-N-Enjoy fundraising night on April 1st. Tickets will be $30 each and all proceeds will benefit our scholarship fund. More information regarding ticket sales will be coming home soon.
Our next PTSO meeting is Wednesday, March 11th at 6:30 PM in the Library. We hope to see you there!
