Antonio Brown Trade Shapes NFL Offseason

By Lucas Dimler, Reporter

The NFL offseason is just starting with a  big splash of free agency players.

The main headline has been the electrifying Antonio Brown and how he is shaping the NFL offseason.

During the season, it was expected that Brown would leave because of all the issues he had with the Pittsburgh Steelers coaches and players.

According to NBC sports, the main issue falls at the feet of Steelers coach Mike Tomlin because of his leadership style and the way he treats other players.

Also, it’s known that Brown has an issue with Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger because Roethlisberger has been known to rip his own teammates and not take any blame. According to USA today, Ben has been known to say Brown should have ran a better rout after a game.

Now let’s get to the teams that want to acquire Brown.

The asking price would be a first round draft pick and a good player.

The main landing spot for Brown is the San Francisco 49ers because the 49ers have a 2nd pick in the first round to deal for him.

According to ESPN, 49ers legend Jerry Rice has talked to Antonio Brown numerous times, and Brown has said he wants to be a 49er.

Also, this would make the 49ers offense scary with a young QB like Jimmy Garoppolo and the up and coming best tight end in the league, George Kittle.

The Dolphins would be another great landing spot because he already lives there in Miami, and the Dolphins need a real receiving threat.

One problem with the Dolphins is they do not have a sustainable quarterback right now which could cause problems.

The Jets are a solid candidate because they have more than enough money to pay Brown and a young quarterback that could have several weapons with Brown.

Also, the Jets could really use Brown when it comes to him helping the other young receivers on the Jets team.

Another, really good landing spot is the Colts because they are a scary up and coming team with a young and hungry defense.

They have more cap space then any other team in the league which means they can afford him.

Also, it would make the Colts’ offense thrive because a star quarterback like Andrew Luck will have a playmaker in Brown.

All of these places are great landing spots for Brown, but some teams are scared to trade for him because of all the drama between him and the Steelers.

Other teams will think that he will bring that to their locker room.

When Antonio Brown goes to a different team he will not bring drama, he will make plays and make his team better.

Teams are going to want that kind of playmaker on their team.

Wherever Brown goes, he will make an impact; whether it is from being a leader or making plays, Brown will be a great addition to any team.
