SMS Grand Championship Spelling Bee Updates

Bea Angela Ricafort, Matt O’Brien, Colin Brusse, and Colin Baust-Crain did very well at the Grand Championship Spelling Bee which was held on Saturday, February 23rd. Out of 36 spellers, Colin Baust-Crain placed 12th, Colin Brusse placed 11th, Matt O’Brien placed 9th, and Bea Ricafort placed 6th. If a student is in the top 10 it is a really big deal and they win numerous prizes as well as a medal. Both Bea and Matt received medals and about a dozen prizes each. Congratulations to all!!!
