“Bird Box” is an American fictional post horror film that will give you nightmares.

Director Susanne Bier has also directed 19 other movies including “Bird Box.”

“Bird Box” was released on Nov. 12, 2018 in theatres, and it was released on Netflix worldwide on Dec.21, 2018.

The movie is rated R because there are scenes with a lot of swearing, death and chaos.

One of the main actresses in the movie is Sandra Bullock, playing Malorie who tries to overcome the chaotic invasion of “entities” in order to make sure that a young boy and girl in the movie are safe and do what she tells them to do.

These weird entities, which are invisible creatures from the outside, cause people to kill themselves.

In order to survive, one must either blindfold themselves, close one’s eyes, cover one’s car windows, stay inside and shut all the blinds or lock all possible entrances to one’s house.

Another main actor is Trevante Rhodes, playing Tom; he also is friendly and helpful and also makes sure that Malorie was safe,  helping her get up when she gets knocked down by a mob when she is pregnant.

The graphics are exceptionally realistic, especially in the earlier scenes when the entities take over,  showcasing no camera angle issues.

Reviews for the movie haven’t been great as 66 percent of viewers on Rotten Tomatoes believe it lacks originality.

The movie isn’t too long, as it lasts about 2 hours and 4 minutes; in fact, a lot of people have been extending its blindfolded thrill by posting on social media videos of themselves doing challenges while blindfolded.

Just recently on Jan. 14, 2019 a teenager that has not been named yet from Layton Parkway, Utah crashed a pickup truck into a white SUV and will face reckless driving charges.

The movie is worth your time if you are interested in horror movies and if you have never have seen it before.
