The competitors can create their team by participating in a draft to make their player selections.

Junior Nathan Binko feels like it is best to get the best players first.

¨The most important thing to do when you make your picks it to get the best of the best first. You need guys that you know will average high amount of points for every single game. These picks should not be a quarterback because there are not as important as like a running back or a wide receiver,” said Binko.

Junior Matthew Schwanke feels like its important if you have two great running back earlier rather than later.

“Most important to me is making sure to get two great running backs within the first 3 rounds, usually the first 2 rounds. It is okay to go with a wide receiver in one of the first two rounds if it happens to be a Michael Thomas or Antonio Brown,” said Schwanke

Sophomore Zachary Druck feels like it important to look at how many points the players average.

¨I try to look at they players average points and usually pick the best unless they are doing bad that year. But I look at stats from last year to make my new pick,” said Druck.

Sleeper players are players that are wildcards, chosen in hopes of putting up big points.

¨For the first rounds I go for more known players, but in the later rounds I tend to go mainly for the sleepers of the draft,” said Binko.

Schwanke looks at types of points players can project.

“I look for players who show good patterns. What I mean is like a WR who may not be a household name but is always a top 20 players in points,” Schwanke said.

Druck feels like he is mostly going with know performers. “I tend to watch college and look at the rookies when they come to the NFL and if i see some talent in them I pick them,” said Druck.

Also, Binko stated ¨It depends on what type of league you are in. If you are in a PPR league, I would go for a wide receiver; however, if you are in a non- PPR league, I would go for a running back.”

Also schwanke stated “I think running backs are most crucial because they can put up huge number and are very hard to come by”.

Also, Druck stated ¨Honestly kinda unoriginal but QB because they are the main part of the team they get the ball to receivers and your running back¨.
