Southern York County School District Students Earn Awards in Scholastic Arts and Writing Contest

Susquehannock+student+Andrea+Hebel+earned+a+silver+medal+for+journalism+at+the+state+level+of+the+2018+Scholastic+Arts+and+Writing+Contest.

Susquehannock student Andrea Hebel earned a silver medal for journalism at the state level of the 2018 Scholastic Arts and Writing Contest.

Students from Susquehannock High School earned awards in the 2018 South Central Pennsylvania Scholastic Arts and Writing Competition. The national program recognizes students for their creative excellence in 28 categories of art and writing.

The following Susquehannock High School students earned awards in the competition:

These students will be invited to a recognition ceremony at the State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg on March 10, 2018.  Gold key recipients Andrea Hebel and Kristen Krobot advanced to the national competition.

“This is the third consecutive year that members of the Susquehannock High School Creative Writing Club have seen their works advance to the national round,” said Timothy Groth, Susquehannock High School English teacher.
