Track & Field Information

• Track practice will be held  Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 5:15 PM beginning Monday, March 5 through May 12
• There will be five to six dual meets which will be held on a weekday afternoon
• There are two Invitational’s – Herb Schmidt Relays (Friday, April 20) & New Oxford Invitational (Saturday, May 12)
• There will be an activity bus available for those who need a ride home from practice.  Students must sign up for the bus.  Sign up is in the Main Office.
• Running events: 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600 meter runs, 100/110 hurdles, 4×100, 4×400 relays
• Jumping events: long jump, high jump, Throwing events: shot put, discus
• No tryouts or cuts, everyone participates
• No costs to participate, uniforms provided
• Required paperwork will be available at the middle school
• Listen during morning announcements for signup information starting in January
