GameTime PA Names Susquehannock Athletes All-Stars for 2017 Winter Sports Season

GameTime PA has named the York-Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) All-Stars for the winter sports season.  There were eight Susquehannock athletes and one coach who received honors.

The following Susquehannock athletes were named YAIAA First Team All-Stars:  boys swimming – Logan McFadden, freshman, and Justin Reed, senior; girls basketball – Tyler Williams, senior.

Sophomore Jaden Walker was named to the YAIAA Second Team All-Stars in girls basketball.

The following Susquehannock athletes received honorable mention:  wrestling – Jack Allred, senior; girls swimming – Kaitlyn Baer, sophomore; girls basketball – Jayla Galbreath, sophomore, and Taylor Tannura, junior.

Varsity girls basketball coach Dave Schreiner was named YAIAA Girls Basketball Coach of the Year for 2017.  The basketball team repeated as the YAIAA Division II league champions and won their first ever District 3 championship title.   The Warriors had 26 wins for the season, which is a program record.  Schreiner led the Warriors to three victories in the PIAA championship tournament.  These were the first state tournament wins for the girls basketball team in school history.
