The Warriors continued their historic run towards a state title against Southern Lehigh on Saturday. They came into the game projected by journalists to lose by as many as 9 points. Trailing at halftime, the team once again had a huge second half surge leading them to the victory and a trip to the semifinals on Tuesday night. Susquehannock outscored Southern Lehigh 35-15 to close out the game. Sophomore Jayla Galbreath once again led the Warriors with 13 points, which led her to a nomination for GameTime PA’s Athlete of the Week. Senior Tyler Williams scored 12 points, while juniors Anna Mahan and Taylor Tannura both contributed 9. They will play for a berth in the state title game on Tuesday, March 21 at Milton Hershey High School at 6 pm.
