Junior Brendan Paules and Senior Julien Sherman attended the PMEA District 7 Vocal auditions held at York High School on the weekend of January 20.       

 Both students had the opportunity to audition for one of four tenor parts within the vocal jazz ensemble.

  Paules and Sherman were among seven other students from other schools auditioning for the part; however, there were only four spots available.

 Paules placed first and Sherman placed third among the nine other students, earning both of them a place in the ensemble.

 This is the first time in Susquehannock High School history that two students have made the ensemble.

 Paules and Sherman will be attending the PMEA District 7 Jazz Festival on March 17 and 18 at Dover High School.
