The First Tee of Greater Baltimore is sending Susquehannock High School junior Kendel Abrams to compete in the 2017 “Golf to Paradise” First Tee Champions Challenge during the Chubb Classic in Naples, Florida, on February 17-19, 2017.

Abrams is a starter on Susquehannock’s varsity golf team and a 2016 GameTime PA Golf All-Star.  She placed sixth during the District 3 Class 3A championships and finished second at the YAIAA individual championships.

During the tournament, 24 youth golfers from throughout the country will play a total of nine holes each of the three days of competition with an alternative format each day.  The event will be taking place during the 30th anniversary of the Chubb Classic, a world class golf tournament televised nationally on The Golf Channel.
