Susquehannock Marching Band Wins Cavalcade of Bands Championship

The Susquehannock High School Marching Band won first place at the Cavalcade of Bands Championships in Allentown, PA, on Saturday, November 12, 2016.

The band was crowned the 2016 Liberty Open Class Champions and earned a season-high score of 98.5.  This was the highest score out of the 152 marching bands competing in Cavalcade of Bands this year.  “This was quite a year for the band! They were undefeated this season,” said Christian Poole, Susquehannock’s band director.

Marching bands from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and West Virginia compete in the Cavalcade of Band Championships.

    I’m really proud of you guys, you had an amazing season. I wish I could’ve been apart of it and I miss the band and guard. Championships was amazing, you guys really deserved first. I’m really happy for you guys and miss you all.
