Rachel Banchiere to Run for York College

Susquehannock High School senior Rachel Banchiere recently committed to run cross country and track for York College. While at York College, Banchiere plans to major in nursing.

At Susquehannock, Banchiere earned four letters in both cross country and track and field. She set the school record for the cross country course as well as the record for the 3,200 meter run in track. In addition, she was chosen to the YAIAA/York Daily Record/Coaches All-Star Team and earned an honorable mention from the York-Adams Cross Country All-Stars through GameTimePA.com.

As a student athlete, Banchiere is a member of Student Council and the National Honor Society, having earned Distinguished Honor Roll and Honor Roll.
