Susky Places First in the Teen Safe Driving Competition

Senior Eli Holloway, senior Connor Hood, and junior Hailey Miller showed off their driving skills when they participated in the Teen Safe Driving Competition. Earning Susquehannock first place in the event, the three students competed against 18 other schools around the York/Adams county area.

Hood placed third in the overall competition and even qualified for the state competition which is being held in Harrisburg on May 12. Holloway placed fourth in the overall competition and has also qualified for the state competitions. Miller didn’t place in the individual events, but she acquired a high enough score for Susquehannock to place first in the competition.

The competition took place at South Western High School with three students per school were allowed to take part.

The team was awarded a trophy from the competition which is now showcased in the main office.
