A Voice to Remember

In light of the sudden passing of former 2014 Courier staff member Elise Delozier, we wish to take a moment to honor her impact on the staff.

Delozier was a lucid voice in a sea of blurred passivity, consistently expressing her opinion with honesty and respect.

She brought a smile to one’s face when she worked on her articles, all while keeping time with her earbuds.

Family-oriented and driven to the core, Delozier extended her work ethic to looking out for her younger brother’s academic progress, constantly pushing him to achieve success.

Delozier would also, unasked, dead-head Ms.Cieslewicz’s neglected classroom plants, explaining the importance of cutting off dead leaves and branches for growth to occur.

Always a helping hand and every teacher’s helper, she never let you down.

The staff extends its sympathy to her family and friends, remembering her zeal and positive outlook.
